I’m happy to announce that I recently signed a deal with Ibanez, and will be playing their guitars exclusively. I am very honored to be in such great company with so many of my influences and favorite artists! I will be playing an RG1527M and an RG927QM on the road. I just wanted to take a moment to thank my friends The Aristocrats – Guthrie Govan, Bryan Beller, and Marco Minnemann, for generously inviting me to sit in with them at their performance in Boston this past Thursday. What an unbelievable band! The three of them gave a great performance, super tight, with lots of chemistry. I sat in on Bryan’s tune “Cave Dweller”, and it was an incredible and humbling experience. It was a very special day for me, and I’ll be the first to admit that it was also quite nerve wrecking! I’m sure many would agree that it isn’t always an easy situation to play in front of 956 (to be exact) Berklee students! Regardless, I had a great time, and it’s a moment I’ll always remember. Thank you guys for a great show and an awesome hang the last few days.

Just wanted to let you know about two new videos that I recently uploaded:

One is a short little clip of my friend, bandmate (Tmac band), and drum virtuoso Marco Minnemann saying some very humbling things! This video can be watched here. The other is a live excerpt of my tune Hat Tricks, from my CD release party a WHILE BACK in November 2010. Seeing as I’ve been working on several other projects, we literally just got around to editing and mixing this thing. This video was filmed at Club Church in Boston, featuring the Nili Brosh Band – Ameya Kalamdani (guitar), Josh Kwolek (bass), Michael Lowe (keys), Josh Wood (drums), and myself (guitar). This video can be found here.

I’d just like to let you all know about a special show I’m participating in – the first one as a band member in Tony MacAlpine’s instrumental band! This is the first show debuting Tony’s latest record (self-titled). This new record is absolutely amazing, trust me on this as you are hearing it from a long time MacAlpine fan!! It’s incredibly melodic, heavy, and has all-around beautiful guitar (and piano!) work. Tony’s fans should expect nothing less. I am so incredibly honored to be a part of this incredible band and I can’t wait to play this material live. The show is at Musicians Institute in Hollywood on July 14th, 4 pm.
