Hey everyone!

As my melody contest wrapped up last night (man, those six weeks went by FAST!), I just wanted to chime in and say a big THANK YOU to all of you who have taken the time to write melodies, practice, shoot videos, enter the contest, share the videos, support the cause, and support Jason. It’s been incredibly rewarding to see so many great players make entries and support each other, and I truly feel like we’ve created a great sense of community with this, which is the most beautiful thing in my book!! Please stand by for the next few weeks while my wonderful panel of judges and I sift through the entries to choose three winners!

So before I put my head down to start watching the many entries I haven’t yet, let me just tell you about a few upcoming gigs:

Thursday, August 11th – The Baked Potato, Studio City, CA – thanks to all of you, the attendance at my band’s last gig there was off the charts, thus getting us invited back to our hometown venue a lot sooner than we’d anticipated. As always, we will be playing two sets – 9:30 and 11:30 pm, and tickets are already available by clicking HERE. I hope you come and rock with us at my unofficial birthday gig, as it’ll be a just over 24 hours before I turn 28 (yeesh!).

Thursday, August 18th – Centro Estatal de las Artes, Ensenada, Mexico – an evening with Nili Brosh and Lumovi, 8 pm. I am very happy to be back in beautiful Ensenada, Mexico to play a set of my original music, and watch my good friend Luis Moreno (Lumovi) do the same with his. Going to be a great event!

As always, and especially with the contest – I’d like to thank all of you for your continued support, and hope to see you soon!
